depression help: This has been my year from hell. - Help.com

This has been my year from hell.

Last year I lost my business, and was fighting to save the home my mom shared with me for 14 years. After a nice Christmas, my mom had a cold, and after her DR made several errors, passed away in March. Now I have lost my business, my home, and worse, my mom. How do you cope when your entire life just crumbles?? I am trying the best I can, but just can’t seem to make ends meet. I feel bad knowing that a lot of people are also going through similar situations. I wish the government would stop helping the banks and the rich, and reach down and help the middle class.

The government does not care about you or me, they only care about saving the rich and powerful businesses and moguls who keep the politicians pockets lined up.

Thanks for your kind words. This has truly been my worst nightmare. Losing my mom has been very difficult for me, and I am glad that I have my friends to help me through. She had been living with me for the past 19 years, since my dad died, so this has really been hard. She was truly my best friend in the world, and nobody will ever be able to replace that for me. I think about her every day, and I can’t believe she is really gone. I have been handling this, but sometimes the sadness just fills my heart.

My mom and I had a really nice gift shop in Mount Dora, Florida. Sales were getting really slow, and then the landlord, seeing our lease was up after 5 years, decided to raise the rent $1000 a month! Since there was no way we could do this, we had to just give up.
