I want to know why people aren’t as interested in buying

professional products, instead they would prefer to spend less money on drug store brands that don’t have as good a quality. I am interested because I will be owning a salon soon, possibly, and want to know what needs people have when it comes to these things to help better provide my clients with what they need!

1) Make sure you situate you’re store in an area where people have money. Middle class, upper middle class, or high class neighborhoods.

2) Have signs that clearly states what each product does. The more informed consumers are of the product, the more likely they are to buy it.

3) Personally try all the products yourself, and give a first person’s view of how awosome they are. Be honest, your costumers will respect you for this.

4) Advertise the products while you’re doing people’s hair, its a salon right? Say that this style will best be kept with this proffesional product. The girls will buy it for sure!!

Tell me what you think of these points.

Post a replytimes are hard money is sparse and there for they like the cheapness but other than that it might be brand loyalty or it could be that some of the cheap stuff is just as good as the expensive stuff

I thinks its because salon products can be expensive & people aren’t sure 100% if it will work they can’t take risk with there money if they have kids or bills to pay

*Try to set things a resonable price throw in something free when you do that that person is likely to come back gurantee

*Tell the costumers how to use the product and make sure its 4 there hair type (No lieing) If a Professional told me that a product was good 4 my hair and i when home and tryed it and it sucked i would probably not go back

Hope this helps and good luck with your salon
