I fooking HATE fitted sheets!
Seriously. How the fook can they be so annoying and difficult to assemble? I told the CrapPack I didn’t like fitted sheets, and please not to bring any over. So what do they do? The thing to annoy the fook out of me of course - bring me fitted sheets!
I’ve just dragged out my old mattress only to find the new one was a bed base, re-dragged the old one back in, and struggled for 20 twenty minutes to get the blasted thing on…until I realized that even though it’s a single…it doesn’t always mean it fits! Holy camel testicles, who would have thunk it?? I now feel like I’m in PMS mode, because the reason I don’t like fitted sheets is because they frustrate me to no end. A) I’m sure I don’t know if I’m putting it on the correct way - which probably means the ones I do have actually fit, but I’m too much of a dumbstick to figure out HOW. B) They never stay on.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s not much I actually do on the bed in that regard. I rock back and forth whilst laying down listening to music throughout the day, and my bed is next to my desk, so it’s the reason I don’t have -nor need- a computer chair. So the sheet gets ruffled around a lot, and I always have to get up and fix it about 3 times in the night. Another clue that I’m not a fitted sheet person. What ever happened to the good old fashioned ones that were just one size fits all and you tucked it under so it barely moves? What ever happened to the fact they didn’t have the material texture of a hospital bed?
Grr. A whole fooking hour of my life wasted that I will never get back, and now I’ve just wasted more of it with this ridiculous rant. Someone drown me in acid…or get me a decent sheet.
