My girlfriend is a lunatic.

i have a similar post called My girlfriend wants to kill my parents. I wanted to know how long it would take for the police to follow up on a cyberstalker police report? any ideas? i have yet to file the reports and am trying to plan things out right. thanks

It depends on the police department, you should call or go in and talk to them. The dept will be able to tell you how they handle the process and best way to do it.

are you sure shes your girlfriend? just if your filing reports on her for making threats against your parents id suspect shes more like your ex?

she is my girlfriend, but every time i want to break up with her, she threatens to harm my parents and thus forcing me to stay with her. its a tough situation.

i have an online conversation and text messages with the threats. the conversation has a link of who the potential guy is and his record. i printed those out. i also made a timeline of events of approx when each threat occurred. in the conversation, she clearly makes the threat and subsequent substantial evidence. for instance, she says who the guy is related to and how she goes about conspiring it. i have a folder full of stuff.

Why don’t you bring a witness next time. Making threats to kill somebody is a felony in your state. In this time of National security and terrorist scares, she would be in the slammer in no time. Specially if she’s consipiring with someone to do it.
