I don’t post anonymously. I’m never ashamed of what I have to say. They’re my words, and my opinions, and my thoughts, and I’m proud of them. I have no reason to hide.

I am about as anonymous as I am going to get because nobody knows the real me anyway and that’s how I intend to keep it.

The other half is acting on your knowledge. Now that you know anonymousness is a word, you can use it :3 And the battle is won!

I do feel rather anonymous when I post anonymously, except for when I eff it up by replying unanonymously. But there is also a certain degree of anonymousness to posting unanonymously.

Anyway I try not to post anonymously anymore. I only did it once because I was ashamed of what I had to say and didn’t want even those few who knew me here to know that it was me posting such depressing things. Now I think trying to look strong does more harm to others than good. I’m trying to be as honest about who I am as possible, which means no anonymousness allowed…

I do think the anonymousness of the internet has leaked into my real life in one way…I sometimes “log out” when I’ve done something stupid rather than going back to face people. I just avoid the people who know and pretend like they don’t.
