Does anyone know or have panick attacks in the middle of the night.
This has been happenin to me now for the last couple of months. The first time it did I woke up in the middle of the night next to my partner from a deep sleep and didn’t know where i was or how I got there. Like i was completely on a bad trip or somethning. But i dont take drugs or drink much! The next thing My heart started beating million miles an hour and I thought i was gonna die! then couldnt breath or was hyperventilating. Iwas busting to go to the loo but for some reason i convinced myself that I was gonna have a heart attack and die If i went to the loo. So I had to hold on until i couldnt anymore and started frieking out in the loo. You know how you hear about people carcking it in the middle of the night on the loo!!! so the last few months have been a nightmare getting to sleep scared to sleep in case i wake in the middle of the night and it happens again! Now I will not use our ensuite loo in middle of night and will not sleep next to my partner because they snore loudly and anything wakes me! So I sleep by the side of our bed on a matress near the fan heater . If i wake in the middle of the night I immediately start wondering when it is gonna happen and get really nervous! It is the scariest thing to go through! Now I put off going to bed till really late now! Funny thing is thouhg,if i sleep during the day it wont happen at all, because i know people are around and hospitals and Docs open etc! This has never happened to me at all before! I love my sleep and it has always been safe for me to sleep and wake in middle of the night!!!! I wuold love to hear if it happens to anyone else here?
