it probably downloaded it, but most people tend to forget to actually install it…

I had that problem my old computer isn’t supported by the newer versions. I had to find an old program that had an old version of Adobe on it to install because the one on the Adobe website said my computer wouldn’t work… didn’t have enough RAM.

You’d think they’d keep older versions somewhere online.
