26 Miles

On my Fuji Absolute,
I ride and I ride,
I train for a race,
with my calloused hide.

26 miles not too bad,
I planned to do today,
I did 16 that was it,
it was mechanical I’m sorry to say.

My tears back I choked,
for my bike had broked,
and my heart soon would follow suit.
but alas like a joke
it was only a spoke,
so I didn’t say shi*, I said shoot.

You may see, you just might,
a man carrying a bike,
don’t think him crazy or dumb,
he may need a ride,
cause “his” ride just died,
now he only has his thumb.

Thank goodness for good Samaritans. .

Yeah, I contemplated riding it more, but the wheel was bent, so I had to carry it until I could get a ride.

Possibly a small hole. Very small. I think the tension may have been a bit too tight though, not sure.

Yeah, I don’t want a blow out on THAT bike. 60 bucks for a tire is what I hear.

i

typical tho coz i often go at high speed at least once but i dont like taking the risk but then i think well why not o the other expensive bits are gear mecanisms and also the wheel axels so id watch ou for those to or else your good bike is gunna be expensive bike made of replacement parts

LOL, very true.
I gave $250.00 for this bike. It was a steal. So it is already expensive….lol
But you are right. I am finding out already that it is a bit expensive to keep up.

I have found that to be true as well. When it comes to less expensive bicycles. Good Point.

I got it fixed this evening. Cost me a dollar for the spoke and fifteen for him to put it in. He already had it half way fixed when he asked if I wanted him to fix it lol.
