here is what i didn’t like:
- meta image has nothing to do with the content like what does the yellow animal has to do with the marie grillet
- i dont like the position of the whole page i guess it should be in the center like have a big div and put all the content inside it and give a an text-align:center like width:100% or something
- i think the worst and easiest positioning system is the position:absolute, i think you need to use more float cause the position:absolute is very browser and resolution dependent so i doubt the capability of a cross browser or different resolution…
- for the buttons i think it is better to use a table and use tr and td to position ur buttons one after the other , or even the newest trick that i didnt get to play around is the ul> and li> most website use that but i still didnt get why did the table version of putting buttons got replaces maybe for a faster page…
- you need to work on ur graphic side of the website like try learning a few trick in photoshop… i learned to use fireworks it’s very easy to use, gives gr8 results after you learn fireworks i guess photoshop is the next beast to hit
- i dont get why the extention of ur website is htm that is soooooo old, HTML man :D CTP(cake template page) ;), cake is a php plateform really useful but quite hard to start learning it cause it’s abit confusing…
- my browser cant open the video thingy maybe cause i dont have wmv so i think it is wiser to use an flv video file since now all website have a link to a video in youtube and the video is in flv so most ppl use flv now…
- when i click on little drummer boy the Maria link is disappearing i think that is a bug…
i guess for now that is enough :)

- lack of dynamic in ur page it’s too static maybe you should write some javascript to make it more dynamic , like instead of having 1 picture, use javascript to fade in and fade out between pictures

I remember seing your website, start to practice what you preach. I am not to upset with all of those mistakes I seem to have made, I have thousands of visitors to the website every year. This last month just gone, see’s me with tens of thousands of downloads, I must be doing something right.
I tested the page using the latest version of firefox, plus the other most used browsers. It shows up on all of them just fine.
When you get to the page in question, top right of the page. There are two links, in very light blue. One for windows (WMV) and one in flash (FLV) for other older browsers, using the latest versions of the browsers shows the website quite well.
The two links I talk about, are for people like yourself, that need another way of being able to watch this particular page.
I put this page up especialy for the use of the post on this website, sorry if you dont like my website, you will have to remember not to use it in future. It was made in favour of windows/microsoft users. Windows video and movie fascillities or far superior to flash.
If you scroll down on the opening page you will see that all that you criticise is being taken in hand over the next four months.
My last point is, that, the post is here to give some pleasure to any one that wants a break from the normal post on here, it’s just meant to be enjoyed, as it is.

eheh am not sure what you are pissed about , i was just trying to help you out, man what is this world coming too… am no programming expert, that website i did was before i even started my computer science degree or something :D… i know it was bad really bad, hopefully i will learn from my mistakes and move on… am just learning about web design i dont say am an expert but i learned some stuff from previous designing… i guess i shouldnt have wasted my time to view your source code and try to give you a comment that you would have really took into consideration… i guess i should have done like the rest of the ppl… let me rephrase my previouse post here

that link to .flv is on the banner, i think you need to put it on top of the video or on the bottom of the video yet if you still want to keep it on the banner i suggest you change the color of the link cause the background image color is blue and the link is in blue so it was hard to spot….

I was trying to point out that a lot of what you say has already been addressed, it is just going to take a few months for me to impliment it, it is my busy time in the gardens, so the amount of time I get to go on the internet is limmited.
The real point is that this is an old website, the first one I ever made. I saw the video on the post, at one of my youtube visits and thought it was nice enough to try to give a lift to anyone here that likes this kind of talent.

hey man nice to know you are busy and stuff, busy is good ^_^… hope that garden is doing well :D… i was just trying to point out what i didnt like, it’s just my opinion so i can be wrong am just human it was quite pointless for me to say nice website since you got that already :D… do what you believe is right man, i was just giving my non-expert opinion… thanks for the share man

The website is due for an upgrade soon, should work better on all searchbars when I can get round to implimenting it.
The problem is that windows and the other major browsers dont work well with each other. It means I have to compromise the look and feel of the website or make it available in both wmv and flash format.
Top right hand corner, look for a flash (flv) link, to just watch the video, click on run or to download it to your computer click on save.

yeah, its not a big deal really, from what ive heard i should probably be using firefox, but it only took a second or so to add on the windows player thing..

Cool beans… I have noticed people with extraordinary musical talent seem to display it at a very early age.
Yes I agree, most though get a sense of self importance very quickly. This young person is still untouched by the fame.
I gather that this was a New Musical Express award ceromony,where marie was given an award for her talent.
Also, the whole of the family are very accomplished musicians.
That’s really cool, it’s awesome to see someone with talent like that.

There is a lot of good advice given in the replies to it. Recovery does start with doing it yourself for yourself.
I know from experience, it took me just over 11 years to start doing it myself, that was a place I never want to go back to.
Depression and illnesses of the mind take a lot of fighting and like the others say, no one else but yourself can do it for you.
I started by looking for and surrounding myself with anything I could find that was beautiful, that includes people and especialy, the ones that are gifted.
I wanted to be gifted as well, so I then went all out and started making beautiful gardens for anyone that wanted a beautiful garden. Some years later now, I am still making them for others and myself.
The pleasure it gives them and therefore myself, when I clearly see they love what I have achieved, makes me extreemly happy.
You to, have something somewhere that you can share, even if it’s talking to some one here, and helping them, that is a start and a noble thing to do.
So you have got the start you need, you have to now help it to grow.

The spring and summer months especially then the first part of autumn or the fall, are busy times with the gardens I look after. The other months I can spend mainly on the internet and making websites.
