Is it odd that I have no desire to fall in love?

I don’t like the idea of this wild emotion taking hold of me and making me do dumb, crazy, wonderful things.

I have extremely strong emotional stability. The thought of someone walking in and breaking down all my barriers scares the hell out of me. Is it weird or do you kind of see where I’m coming from?

No, I don’t find it odd. I feel the exact same way you do. I feel comfortable, in control, and happy without love in my life. There’s nothing wrong with that. You may be a “aromantic” which is a person who does not experience romantic attraction.
