Friends don’t leave friends with $1000 debts.
Hello there. It’s really hard to know who is a true friend and who is not. i found this out recently. I am a 19 year old college student supporting herself on her own—estranged from parents since young. My roommate was living with her boyfriend w/ me for the month of June because I couldn’t find any roommates for that month and she said they would help pay my rent. So 2 and a half weeks in, she dissapears. My kitchen was almost cleared out, all my food dwindled down. I even noticed she took some of my beauty products. I come home one night and their room is cleared out, no trace. So I call her but she tells me she’s not responsible and blocks my number. She wasn’t on the lease so now I’ve still got $878.44 left to pay as my hours were cut at work and again, I have no financial support from my family. Any money would be greatly appreciated. I have been sellling all my possesions, I have not bought any food for the past month–living on what I had left.
I have been trying everything…data entry, cash crate, send surveys, everything to scrape up little cash to pay this debt off. Please, I really need help there’s not much else I can do. If I cannot pay this debt soon, I will be kicked out and as an out of state student I have nowhere to go. Thank you.
