Help converting an *rmvb video to an *avi one!

So I recently downloaded a few movies in the rmvb format. They work just fine on my PC, but I need to play them on a DVD player. In order for me to do that I would have to convert the movies to avi. I downloaded two converters but somehow none of both seemed to work. Any thoughts on that one?

use this

http://zamzar.com/

Don’t worry, I’ve used it a ton of times. So far I haven’t gotten any weird viruses or E-mails. Just put in the file, select avi, enter your E-mail and download it from the link they send you :) good luck!

One more question: What if the file is bigger than 100 MB and I don’t have the money to pay for regestration. Any ideas on how to split an rmvb file?
