how much does it cost to make a shoe?

for a big shoe manufacturer, how much does it cost to make a high heeled women’s shoe? for example how much do silettos sold for $70 actually cost to make??

errm not sure on specific shoes and it depends on the country that made them but its often a matter of a couple of quid becuse theyre made cheaper by producing them in batches

Nah. I was just trying to exaggerate the fact that Asian sweatshops are underpaid but the products they make are over priced.

However, I wouldn’t be surprised if what I wrote was correct.

it works out a any where fro, 50 p - £2 in english money so if you know the exchange rate from english to us then ill do the math and let you know

If its a shoe made from synthetic materials which most are
then the shoes weigh about 1#.And the raw materials would cost about
$1.50 and the labor to asssemle it would be less than $1
Total about $2.50

Normally it would go something like this $2.50 base price double by
manufacturer to the distributor or $5 then distributor doulles to the retailer
or $10 then retailer doubles or triples to #20 or $30.
