I think its that we’re all here together. As one. You know the song Circle of Life? Its the wheel of fortune….lalala.. So what happens happens. Look behind the kiddy animation and listen to the word and whats happening. Imagine its you and your family friends & enemies. Close your eyes & listen to the dialouge.

Well before you go on about this propoganda crap, mabe you should actually hire out the dvd and whatch the directors cut. You will fined that by actually doing your research, the Lion king was in fact based on Shakspear’s Hamlet. In whitch out of the two brothers Mufussa was the choosen king and Scar was the Evil uncal. Scar then kills the real king and takes his place. Simba then runs away or goes into exile thinking the deth of his father is his folt. The Lion King may have been base on Hamlet, though the film is supposed to teach the child audiences about responsibility and the exceptance of deth in the family.

Its anti-communist propaganda, Scar is Stalin calling the Hyenas (the peasants) to take over the throne from Mufassa (Tsar Nicholas. The pride starves yet Scar insists things are better than they used to be.

Watch this video and tell me this scene doesn’t shout out communism

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2K6lFY…

- The hyenas goose stepping, looks exactly like Red Army parades.

- The red at the end obviously communist colours.

- The cresent moon above scar is clearly a reference to the communist sickle.

People, people. This movie is against Muslims, because Scar has a darker complection, like most arabs, he has an acsent, like most Muslims, he has a black beard, just like Muslims, and in one scene, he is shown with a crescent in the sky, and crescent is the symbol of Islam! These are all subliminal messages! This is Montazer reporting.

This is anti-authoritarian propaganda, when you compare Scar with Stalin. If any of you have done your research, communism is not theoretically authoritarian or dictatorial, like Stalin and Scar. Communism, when you boil it down, means the abolishment of private property, and the equal distribution of goods and produce. This is not anti-communist, just anti-Soviet and anti-authoritarian.

It’s the age-old story of Osiris, Set and Horus. Simba (Horus) is his father returned. Meanwhile Simba’s uncle (Scar-Set)kills his brother(Mufasa-Osiris)and is himself defeated by Simba-Horus.
The circle of life is the zodiac, the ever-repeating year. The light is defeated by the dark and in turn the dark is defeated by the light, just as the darkness of winter kills the sun and the light of spring kills the winter.
The Lion King, Mufasa and then Simba, is the constellation of Leo that reigns at the height of summer. Scar represents his astrological opposite. Notice how Scar operates in the dark, whilst Muhasa and Simba operate in the light. The rain stops and the sun comes out when Simba defeats Scar and ascends the throne.

Lion King is ovbiously based of Hamlet if you can not see the constant reference to SImba’s inability to take responsibility and act in seeking revenge against his Uncle’s Scar killing. The ghost of the father returns back to give Simba advice which to occurs in Hamlet, it is based of Hamlet

I personally think its a story about god, Mufasa being god Simba being Jesus, Timone and Poomba being Mary and Joseph, Zazu being Gabriel, scar is Satan and his hyena’s are demons or perished souls…

Excellent perspective. I agree, much like all religions have thier saviour etc, in this fable its a bunch of animals personafied. While I havent seen part two, the major interest point that stood out to me was the fact that the pig an ferral (or whatever it was) lived in a world where there was no conflict of resources. A wild pig and a ferral living together in harmony in a land where they eat bugs and worms and not each other. While back at the ranch you have all mammals fearing the almighty lion/ruler and living in a world of terror. What i mean by that is an absolute contradistinction, the land of scar and mufasa you have carnivors. So you see the female lion hunting for meat(animals to kill, yet these animals worship/fear the lion) and upon entering the land of the pig/ferral, you see the fear they have for the lioness as they know they are in danger of being her lunch.

So here is my concern thus far, why in a childrens movie would we allow to see canabalism? Is that how we justify our existence? “Fear me /worship me as you will one day be my meal?

Id rather run away and live in a society that sees everyone as equal and live without fear of being eaten.
