Does anyone here ever feel like their going to die?

Like suddenly? I don’t know what it is, but I randomly get these extreme moments of anxiety where I think I’m in my last moments, but of course, I realize I’m not. I just think my vision’s gonna turn black, and I won’t even feel anything, and then I think of how sad my family and friends would be…When I have these panic moments, my heart starts racing…but then I calm down. Like right now, I have a bug bite or something, and I’m imagining poison slowly moving through my veins and killing me. How can I calm down, do I just have to force myself to not think crazy?? I really try to not think about it…but what if it does happen!! I know i’m only 17, but really….I’m just scared it’ll end too soon.

You are running your mind, not the other way around. You can control your thoughts and not by thinking you have to be a laughing hyena or anything like that. The mind will always revert back to what it remembers for the last 24 hours unless you take hold of what you are concentrating on.

You can not possibly believe that you are possessed do you? You are a free thinking individual who can on occasion be down on themselves and think bad things are going to happen and let your imagination run wild but, if it is always dark thoughts don’t be threatened by them think them through and put it down on paper. Perhaps there is a new novel there, some sinester plot that no one has thought of before. Never forgot whatever you do, you are in complete control as to what to think about and what to let go. It is when we are trully insane that we don’t have the ability to take control of our thoughts anymore.

actually i can relate to you 100%. I get like this alot. i have chalked it up to be anxiety. i was driving home from work earlier and felt my heart beat a little funny, and before i knew it i was racing home, felt dizzy, and all i could think was oh my, im getting ready to die and here i am driving! i have so many of these episodes i could go on and on for hours. it is really scary, but i have got where i tell myself when it happens to just calm down, and try to think of something positive. reading your post really hit close to home, like the other day at work they had just had the bug sprayers come in and do a routine spraying, and since then i am crazy being in there. i wont use the restroom, im afraid some got on the toilet, and door handles, or im breathing it in…lol… if you want to talk more, let me know..email me at i> small>(email removed) /small> /i>.
