Life in a Void.

Sometimes I get to thinking about my future, all my hopes and dreams. I realized suddenly that, even if i had all the resources necessary for all of them, the truth is, The hourglass would run out before I got to finish that list. I find that regardless of how much I’m able to accomplish in life, that I will die with an entire world full of other things I wanted to do.

And then I start down a slightly different track, and this one kind of gets to me. You see, life, in all its abundance, is a fragile thing. One misstep, and you can accidentally stomp out the life of a flower or even of a bug, A careless second driving down the road can spell the end of a squirrel, or a cat, or some poor dog. The body is delicate, but even these creatures have their own methods of survival. The flower’s roots may live on still to sprout anew, the bug is small enough to avoid death by stomping, and even the squirrel, the cat, and the dog are gifted with high agility and senses. It would be one thing if all deaths were accidental, but every day people are found that are finding ever evolving methods to actively destroy life. I think that anyone that goes through a day should be grateful just to have lived to see its end. Because in just a second, anyone can be in the wrong place at the wrong time. They could be hit by a car, have a bad fall, something could even fall on them, many even have the absurdly bad luck to end up in a building at the same moment as a lunatic with a gun, or worse. Now back to my original point: When you look at all the terrible things that happen each and every day, danger truly can be around any corner, and by some strange twist of fate, or accident, your life can be erased, I wonder if I’ll even live long enough to see any of my dreams come true. I suppose the reason everybody isnt afraid to leave their house in the morning is nothing short of an evolutionary response to prevent us from being paralyzed with fear all the time. Strange, isnt it?

its not an evolutionary response to any of that, its the fact that some things about life are good, and we actively seek those things regardless of the risks.
granted, it would have been much safer to have never been born, but whatever.

This calls for my motto:

Hymphadimpily.

For those of you that are now scratching your heads, I will explain.

Hymphadimpily means “anything and everything and all things and nothing” these are the words I try to live by because the truth is, you define you, you define who you are, you control what you do, and no matter when you die be it sooner or later,

This is still true.
So my point is, yeah life is fragile were all just walking the earth untill some random cause ends our lives, but you can either worry over this, or just live life and go for your dreams anyway.

If you still have no idea what I’m talking about, congradulations, you now understand hymphadimpily.

(hold your applause)

It’s funny because I rarely think about this type of thing. Maybe I should start worrying more about the fragility of my existence?
I wish they’d hurry up and find a cure for morality.

Life sucks and then you die. That’s what antidepressants are for. If you can survive the side effects >.

Everything in life has its risks. You can hide all you want but eventually death catches up to you. You just have to live life as you wish and if it just so happens to be your time then so be it. Sure life is fragile, the question is do you have the willpower to overcome your fears.

I dont fear death. I feel the need to make a metaphor here:

You know how when you and a friend schedule something, and you move around a bunch of appointments and stuff just to be able to do it, only to find that they cancel at the last minute? The first thing that you think is how much wasted effort that was.

i have this great plan, and im going out of my way to make it happen, but what if those plans get canceled at the last minute?

Like if you die before seeing your plans through?
Well at the risk of being cynical, you wont really be at liberty to worry about it will you?
Look you have no way of knowing if your gonna reach your plans will be cancelled or not, all you can do is go day by day trying to make them happen.

do what you want to do at all times. then when you die youll be remembered as someone who lived YOUR life as opposed to someone elses.

unless youre evil, in which case kindly die.
