Weight help: Hello! - Help.com

Hello!

So I am about 130lbs or so, and 6′1. Theres days where I can eat a whole horse, and days where I can fill up off bites of a pasta. Any insight onto what may be causing my appetite to jump? I do indulge in relaxation through smoking of the ganja. I started so that it would help me sleep and help me eat. I feel now some days I just don’t get hungry. I also have an idea that it could be the computer as I am an artist and get very into my work, with my brain so stimulated maybe it has forgot about my stomach :X

Just try and eat a hores…ur metabolism will slow and u wont be so skinny…until then enjoy it!

Is your weed mixed with anything? I heard that they sometimes add thins to it to make it more potent.

I’m in the same boat as you, tall guy, but really slim. How old are you anyways? When I was in high school I used to be about 130-135 pounds and 6′ tall, still 6′ tall, but now I’m almost 150. By the way, that isn’t really all that underweight, a little bit, but not really. You’re naturally slim, and for that you should be happy, a lot of people struggle with being overweight, and you my friend probably never will.

Odds are, there is nothing wrong with you, but it couldn’t hurt to have your thyroid checked with a simple blood test.

For me, my low appetite is because I’m just an anxious person, its a family trait. When I’m stressed, I don’t feel much like eating, and like you, when I’m really into something, I tend to ignore my stomach till I can’t take it anymore. Other times, I have a ravenous appetite, and I can each a considerable amount of food.

If you want to gain a bit of weight and help improve your appetite you could start by working out in the mornings before you eat to help you relax and work up an appetite.
