Please help.

My 18 month old daughter was playing and fell and cut her bottom lip going vertical in the middle. It stopped bleeding after 5 min but there is a small cut. I don’t know if I should take her to the hospital or just treat it at home. It doesn’t appear to be that deep and she isn’t crying. Any suggestions would really help me out . Thanks

Believe me, if it needed treatment she would let you know! lol
Did you see her fall?
One thing you have to be careful of is a knocked head, if she fell and knocked her head then you have to keep an eye on things like her being sick, head aches or temp etc also pale looking but if it is just a cut lip then don’t worry.

If you worry about that then just wait untill she is doing things like using a stack of books to turn the lights on, like mine did lol

My eldest fell down the stairs the other day, well about 5-6 steps so not all of them and he was running around screaming about how he couldn’t breathe…
I just told him to sit down for a second and think, he stopped and looked puzzled and asked why, I said, if you can’t breathe then you can’t run around and you deffinetly can’t scream lol
he was fine but it is scarey when they do things like that, he was just winded.

She will be fine. When people ask you what happened just tell them she fell. Makes sure and keep a better eye on her so it does not happen again.

It is definately a scary thing when this is the first time anything like that has happened. I’m gonna not let her run around so much in the house. But thanks a lot I feel a lot better.

And no bubble wrap on the furniture, but electrical outlet protectors are ok. My brother stuck fork in one as a baby….the palm of his hand turned black but he’s still here today.

I did that one time and got a new FREE hair do! My hair was frizzy for weeks! I hated it!!!
