I think the real question here is, why would you want to download IMVU?
Tell yo friends homie that they be trippin’!

not very. I downloaded it and got my computer covered in minor to intermediate viruses. It took me a good long while to get my computer to build up the strength to uninstall it. My suggestion, do something a bit safer like gaiaonline.com or something like that.

Whell, I want to know, does it have any things that will take over my computer and hijack it?
Or get my information when I download it? xD

I don’t think there’s any spyware, but it definetly makes your computer slower :P

I don’t think it will hurt your computer too much if that’s what you’re asking. It will probably hurt your pride, dignity, and so on. I keep seeing banner ads for it and it just looks…bad…

Am i “signed up” if I didn’t technically install it?
But did everything else?

But put a false last name for myself. (Y)
Cause I’m still a little smart. Lol

It is very laggy, and full of fail, and is double ghey. As far as hijacking goes, I have no clue. It’s probably not sophisticated enough to do things like that.

I’m not sure. If you don’t wanna be signed up for it and you’re already registered, the njust leave and don’t turn back. Did you already go to your E-mail for the registration link?
If not, then don’t worry about it. Just delete the E-mail

To put it simple, the program itself is safe. Who you talk to and how you talk to them is the only real risk
