computer help: i just bought a Micro sd card for my phone and im trying to connect - Help.com

i just bought a Micro sd card for my phone and im trying

to connect it to my computer throught the adapter it came with and nothing really happens..what do i do?

are you putting the SD card into another card that allows it to fit into a memory card slot on your computer or are you connecting a cable from your phone to your computer? if your putting the SD card into another adapter card then inserting that into a slot in your computer, you should be able to access files on the card by going to my computer thru the start menu and looking for either the sd drive or a new memory drive that pops up when you insert the card. if its thru a cable, then i have no idea because i always just use an adapter and directly insert it into my pc.
