Going off the deep end.

I’ll start on the note of my life in a downward spiral! I just got fired, i have no money, and just got a letter in the mail saying i have 10 days to pay $280 for a ticket or they’ll put a warrent out for my arrest. My mom already made it clear she’s not helping but i haven’t talked to my dad about it. If they don’t help me out i think i’m just going to leave for oklahoma and live with my grandpa for a while. I can charge a few tanks of gas to my card before it denies it lol, i think i can make it. I’ll just have to serve my time and start over in a new place.. I would hate to have to do that sort of thing but it sounds better than staying in texas.

Well, to be honest I think your first priority should be paying off that ticket. Do you have anything you could pawn off for the money? Only after that was taken care of would I start fresh.

What is the ticket for? Running my friend doesn’t help:) Reboot and step up to to plate. Sell the bike, apologize for being a **** to your parent and plan a direction. Texas is just a place. Talking to your dad is a good start.

Here is what I’ve found to be the challenge. Some great places to work suck to live. Some great places to live suck to work. The balance is what you set and your skills help generate the ability to finance you new life style. If it were easy everybody could do it:) Start to obtain a skill and work towards a goal. Exercising control over yourself gets easier and plays off in the end. The basics; work, save and play:)
Move if you need too.

at least make some payment toward the ticket or ring them and arrange some sort of payment scheme. they dont send out letters like that if you got the ticket a couple weeks ago mate, so its obviously been sitting there for a long time, its your fault for not paying it.
so dont act like a victim, take responsibility for your actions and pay up like everyone else does.
if you contact them or make some sort of payment then they wont arrest you as long as youre doing something about it.

All I can say right now is that your profile picture combined with the title of this thread unnerves me. I’m sure you can see why.
Now onto my advice. Get out of Texas. It truly is the 8th circle of hell.

Lol maybe i over reacted but Aks and courty made a great point, my dad gave me 100 bucks to make a payment plan and that’ll hold off the fees till i get a job. I have a job interview monday for cici’s pizza it’s better than nothing. Yeah texas is hell lol houston is ok but i wouldn’t wanna live there. I’m still planning on moving to oklahoma after i get everything taken care of, you know, get my car paid off and my GED lol. Elk city sounds pretty good to me.

Agreed with Courty :D Make a payment arrangement. Don’t flee the state - it will only make things worse. Tell them that you really are down on your luck but want to make things right :)
