Is this true?

I heard somewhere that sunblock only prevents you from getting burnt, not tan. So you can go tanning even with sunblock on and still get tan. I always thought sunblock prevented you from getting burnt AND tan! I burn really easily because I’m really pale, but my boyfriend likes tan girls, so I want to be tan. But if I could get tan without getting burnt first, that would be so fantastic!

Sunblock will block the UV rays coming through. which is what burns you. but no matter how much sunscreen you put on, some of those rays will still get through, and thats what tans you.
its still sizzling your skin, just not as bad.
