Can someone answer this for me.
I replied to a post and used the abbreviated form of the word saint (****.), but it was blocked. Can someone tell me why?

They did it again! Can someone tell Help.com that s/t/. is not a bad word and neither is s/a/i/n/t? We use the word God here and that’s not blocked.
what, really? s/t like street= **** and sa/int= saint

thats probably because it is a macro filter used to block out the abreviation for street. even though it is the same as the abreviation for saint since the filter blocks out email addresses, and swear words Im betting that is its primitive attempt to block out the sending of personal information on the site.
Because when you abbreviate that word it really looks like s**t so the filter is getting counfused. Let’s see here, ****.
I don’t think the machine uses any logic, it’s just programmed to do that. Period.
Machines were not meant to be smarter that man, as they had to be created by man. Machines make mistakes.
Thanks, everyone for trying to help. That makes a lot of sense, littlenick, Thanks.
