is it weird or unusual for a 16 year old to, so far in her life, never having a boyfriend, first kiss or date?

Not at all unusual. And btw: you’d be surprised how many of the kids you know / go to school with who are claiming to be “experienced” … really aren’t all that “experienced” either. So don’t give in to peer pressure - just be yourself … and let life progress naturally.

Agreed! Just be yourself and let things happen, don’t lie, but don’t feel too pressured to tell the truth if you don’t want to, let yourself be a mystery, and things will happen for you.

My son plans to wait until he’s married. It’s not weird its actually a beautiful thing now a days. And if you wait until your married im sure your husband will be happy.
