Love help: I had been dating a girl for about 3 years before we broke up. - Help.com

I had been dating a girl for about 3 years before we broke up.

since then there have been times where it looked like we were going to get back, but then there have been times where she seems totally disinterested. we still have a really good time together, and she says she loves me, but doesn’t want to be in a relationship with me right now. I sort of understand, because she tried really hard during those 3 years, but I was preoccupied with other things going on in my life. I really want things to work out with her. I can see myself marrying her in the near future (we’re both about 30) Should I keep trying or should I just give her space? I’m worried that if I don’t keep trying then she’ll just fade away…what do I do?

Maybe you should give her space. Just for a bit.
