Pro:
-don’t need to worry about being late to the airport

Con:
-lots of noise all the time

we live near the airport. or well, maybe 15 minutes from the airport.

the previous replies are correct. another con though, relatives/friends oftentimes stay at your house if the flight got cancelled/they live too far/flight comes or leaves very late at night, you’re often asked to pick them up at the airport, etc. kinda intrusive.
