Is it safe to pay online there? Is there any evidence to backup your statement?

Gamespot.com is a legitimate site, but it’s a game review/preview site. I don’t know why they’d need your credit card.

Thank you for your inputs. I noticed a link/button that said pay $9.99 to get a game (GTA). Am I mistaken or is this correct? If this is not the correct place to buy GTA, then what is?

check that you aren’t being phished - as in you are on the right place..

Thank you, both of you for your quick feedback. I’m confused about this issue. I went on the site gamespot.com and could not find the BUY link. But when I googled for “gta vice city pc game”, I get a link on the site that says download. And here’s the link:

On this link you can see the BUY button is back.

hmmm…

can’t see a “buy” button

that link is for downloading patches/mods - which may require a subscirption to gamespots servers to download…

also, at the bottom there is a “download GTA” button, but that will re-direct you to another site…

If you want to get it, i would really just recommend going to a known site - like play.com or amazon.co.uk - then you know what you are getting in for
