you can defer the loan if you are unable to work in the profession you trained for.

In UK law,student loans are paid out of your salary when you reach a certain amount (i think 15500 per year) - and then, only of 8% of earnings ABOVE that figure…

can’t talk about other countries though…

So - there is no worries in paying it back really…
