I forgot about the taxes!

!!!! AHHHHH!!!!! Now the state is dipping into my checking account and taking money that I don’t even have; causing me to overdraw my account….. I have two kids to feed, bills to pay, school to go to, and work that is drowning me. WHAT CAN I DO? Any and all suggestions are welcome; as long as you aren’t calling me an idiot for forgetting about Uncle Sam!!!!!!!

you cant do anything. you owe the taxes, they have the right to take the taxes.
they dont just take the money, they send out quite a few letters and whatnot before hand, so sorry, but it is your fault im afraid.
try ringing them and seeing if you can set up a lower repayment amount.

Thanks guys… I know it is my fault. However, I was still in the process of getting a payment plan set up (I have until Sep. 6 to voluntarily make a payment). That is why I am so mad. They took before I had a chance to give. I know that the state and government charge taxes no matter what. They may not use our tax dollars the way we want them to, but I can’t just stop paying! Anyway, I did not get the chance to follow through with an acceptable payment plan… I kept in touch with them, and they bent me over and screwed up my whole account!!!!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FEED MY KIDS THIS MONTH? According to the state I make too much money to get any kind of financial support or any of that stuff…

Check with local churches, it is worth a shot, also tap relatives and friends. It isn’t easy but it may be necessary. I wish you the best.
