I was involved in a car accident in Il..

It was not my fault. My insurance does not cover physical therapy and the girl that hit me, her insurance ran out. My attorney told me to get leins put on the Dr. office but no dr. is willing to do that. They want their money and I don’t blame them. I can’t afford the bills on my own so I stopped the therapy. My attorney said to keep going..I’m stuck in the middle and so confused. My shoulder is still not better and I don’t know what to do. My guess is find another attorney??? I don’t know how to handle all this? I’m going crazy with calling dr.s and billing departments and in the meantime all of these bills are going on my credit which used to be perfect. I feel lost. Does anyone know the procedure on accidents and payments?? I would be grateful for some clarification.

No.. stick with this attorney. I work for one. Im a legal assistant. What you need to do is extensive research on doctors that do liens. Turst me you will find some. The worst thing you can do for your case is have a gap in your treatment becasue it will put doubt in the mind of the opposing attorney as well as the judge and jurors. Best bet for you is to start looking for doctors who work on liens!
