My boyfriend and i have been dating since highschool and i really love him.

We have been together for almost 4 years now. I have dated before him, i have met other guys and i always seem to come back to him. Lately things have been going really badly because he just won’t communicate with me. When things are good they are really good, but it seems like with the flip of a switch i can do something that upsets him but he won’t tell me what it is or how to fix it until weeks later. I really want to fix things because i always tell him when he does something that upsets me and i help him to stop. I really just don’t know what to do…Help.

i can understand why your boyfriend is behaving like this…it reminds me of myself. my boyfrined is so good to me but i know that sometimes i behave eaxctly like that.
i think its because i have such difficulty expressing myself. when something upsets me, i’m afraid to say it because my first instinct is that i’m worng, i’m being unreasonable and that my boyfriend is so good to me that i should never complain. when i give it thought (and sometimes thsi takes a few weeks)i sometimes think, “yeah i should tell him” somethimes i think “no, he was right and i was wrong”. i know its not the best way to be, but its just the way i am…and my boyfrined is patient with me. its not ideal, but i’d say he is trying…for some people its just more difficult…the fact that he eventually does say it, shows that he realy is trying to be honest with you
