nah, you’ll be okay.
It just takes time to adjust.
Be yourself and soon enough you’ll be just fine!

what age are people in 8th grade??
If you have friends they will get you through!
Make some friends in gym class - do you know anyone well??

… i don’t see a question here, but here goes. NO BIG DEAL! only if you prefer to pursue a career in athletics. but i don’t think you should worry about gym class so much, and your just in the 8th grade so the time you spend there wont be of any use. and its OK if your not good in sports or you might be chosen last to play, just play it cool if they know you are bad just lay out the cards for them ,say “say hey jocks, look i know im not so good at this sport, and if you don’t want me to play just say so , instead of blaming every screw up on me.” and its not all that bad sitting things out , you can play on your phone or browse the web or if you don’t have a phone of those features you can catch up on some reading. and besides having no friends in the class might be an advantage, leaves more time for you to look available and “approachable” for your guy crush. so after all its not big deal in the end you just have to make the most out of the situation and play it cool.

(thanks for the advice on my other post)

Well get to know like 1 or 2 people - even a little.
Is there anyone else in a similar position to you?? Not knowing a lot of people??
Ask to be introduced by one of your other friends - just something because then you can start up a conversation in gym class.
