Tapons are good for 4-8 hours, if you have a heavy flow then use a tapon designed for heavy, DO NOT use a tapon designed for a heavy flow if yours is not, that will lead to an infection.

They are designed to be ok for 4-8 hours because some women like to wear them over night.

Infection is caused by them being in too long, not by the size.

4-8 hours is the extreme. If you have the time, it is ideal to wear them about 2-4 hours… But yes, you can wear them 8 hours and be pretty safe. Just get one large enough

not with a pad :( but you will be fine with just a tampon to go in the water
if you have pretty good judgment on your flow you should be able to choose the right size tampon to last long enough for you to enjoy your time
