Money can’t buy you love, but love can make you money ;P so I’d have to go with love.

money. it’s much harder and more labour intensive than it is to come by love :)

Yeah, in fairness if you’ve got no money you won’t be able to eat, so love would be something of a moot point. Unless she fed you of course. Hmm, so many variables… this is why geeks like me never get the hang of love, it’s too complicated. Give us good old particle physics any day of the week! :P

Definitely money. I tried my luck at love and it failed me. So, know I’m mad at love and don’t want anything to do with it. So, I’ll take the money and go on from there.

u know what i totally agree with you , at the beginning of this post i said love , but really one can go on with out love , because i don’t think love is only a relationship , it’s something that we all have inside, i don’t think anyone can live if they really hate life, yes i would prefer money and to travel around the world and have many friends too :)

Ok…I want to say love, but there are so many factors. I wish it was just as simple as saying “love” but it’s not. It never is. “The course of true love never did run smooth”.

What if you chose love over money, but then you had to see that other person suffering every day? I would choose money instead of having to see them suffer. Then I’d adopt a kid. Who says money can’t buy you love?

You just need to know who to go to for help. For instance, if anyone ever needs advice on anything, they can alwasy send me a shout. But I think one of the reasons it’s been for fun mostly is because everyone is going through a really hard financial time. They say that we’re now in a second depression…so I understand why people would be like all fun and no help.

Love. That’s easy.

Although easier said than done I suppose…but still, at this point, I say love.

It’s an ambiguous question, so it’s difficult for me to give a simple answer. If you are in love and have no money, then you are going live a very difficult life, which may lead to you and your loved ones becoming depressed. However, if you have a lot of money and no love in your life, you are going to end up very lonely and will probably end up depressed (unless you’re a cold hearted bastard).

If I could choose love but have the money for only the necessities such as food, water, shelter etc, then that is what I would choose.

Really though, I think the answer differs for everyone. Everybody’s opinion on a ‘happy life’ is different as we all have different values and views.

in life, love is a gamble, but money is earned. But if the choice can be made and had, then love is the richest reward, be it true and unfailing.

Love can make you feel happy beyond belief, to love and be loved is living, finally living after feeling dead for years and years. Love can transform your life, can make it meaningful.

But nothing can hurt more when it’s over, when the fairytale ends, there’s reality. And reality hurts because prince charming isn’t so charming when he’s off charming some other girl.

That said, i pick money. Because it hurts less when i lose it all :)

I choose neither, because there is no way to choose one in reality, for the rest of my life. If I were to choose money now, would that mean I must give up the love of my life? If I were to choose love, would I need to be jobless and boycott the banks? No, of course not. We make these choices day to day because we need to have the proper information input, ie meeting the love of your life. And when that time is upon you, then ask yourself a similar question. But to ask it now, would be like making a life decision, without knowing why.

Just remember it’s an important question and is worth taking your time, so use it. Although most serious questions are worth a hefty amount of time, like what you should have for dinner tonight. But we forget that in such a stimulating and fast paced society.

Love is what life is about. You make money to survive and afford love. Love, in general sense, defines the value of money (for me). Money with no love, is worthless to me. When the broken heart is healed, money start to become interesting because then you are ready for the next love, if it comes around. I would say love. Tough I understand the rest saying without money you can’t do anything. But that isn’t entirely true. It’s because of love you are willing to go an extra mile. Including find a way to get money.

@zilverknight’s story:- I’m sorry I dont agree with that story at all.. Its just a parable which moulds the story line to suit itself.. it could as easily have ended with Love being a taliban suicide bomber and blowing the house to smithereens.. and the other two old men would have said ha ha suckers!

Let me ask you are they really happy? IS the majority of the celebs having a relation that at least last longer then a year?

Coming in on this a bit late I know, sorry, but my two-penneth is…

Money is great, really it is, but what the hell is point of sitting outside your mansion, parked up in your Ferrari, if deep down you are as miserable as sin and no-one gives a **** about you? No amount of money or paid off friends is going to make you feel any better.

Don’t get me wrong, we all need a certain amount of money to live in the modern world and I don’t hold love up as some sort of uncorruptable ideal that is greater than all things (1984: rats, cages, need I say more?) But if the choice is between true love + just about enough cash to survive (which is probably where I am now) and enormous wealth, then then I’d go for true love every time.

Deep down I think that part of real love is something to do with (and I know this sounds hugely cheesy, but there you go) finding someone to share your life with - someone who likes you, who cares for you, who will look after you if you need it, who you laugh with and so on (and vice versa) - basically, someone to grow old with. And no amount of money, gadgets, cars, etc (and I say this as a petrol headed geek) is going to give you that. Ever.

I totally disagree with the story because there are so many horrible ppl that obviously don’t have love and need to buy it with their wealth, so, therefore, it is not real love………That’s just my little old opinion, y’all.

There are so many horrible people that only love people with money out in this world.

Money isn’t intrinsically evil or bad. Greed is and greed for love is equally as bad as greed for money. I would chose money so that I had the financial stability that if I ever found love or a girl I could settle down with I could afford to give my children the opportunities in life I never got.

There’ve been a few jokes made. Generally I think sex falls under the banner of love, although money can buy you sex, so I suppose it’s a bit of a grey area…

mmmmm grey area sex, sounds kindof kinky. well, as long as i get to have lots of it then thats all that really matters. and i use condoms, so you can’t blame me for aids or overpopulating the planet either.
