Is fox news run by fascists?

Maybe I shouldn’t be so liberal with my description (no pun intended, both sides have been guilty of foul play from time to time, but this is getting out of hand.) But is fox news a republican bully? Are they inciting a militant uprising? Are they manipulating the masses who are willing to put themselves emphatically in front of the line of progress in order to secure their own agenda? If they succeed and win a 2012 election for the republican party with a vastly incompitent puppet will our country be headed for civil war 2? Is there any amount of truth to be found in their arguments, or even their laughable yet continues statements that they are a fair and Balanced network? Is the creation of a 24/7 libral news center our country’s only hope to compete with this self righteous political machine. Do they care that they breed fear and hatred with little factual support to back up their biased coverage? Do they care that misquoting and rewriting the news to fit their own political scripts is unethical and underhanded? Does anyone see how sleazy this network has become? Does anyone have the courage to stand up to them? Do they have the courage to admit even the possibility that their message or views have are and will ever be mistaken, wrong, or inherently evil? Is anyone as scared as I am about the power they have to stop any forward movements the government can attempt when it disagrees with them?

sir or maam i dont think thats the case at all. i assume you are a democrat? well i, as an independent, have seen first hand the lies told to the american people by that mass media and have found that fox news has been the only network offering a different opinion about whats going on the US compared to liberal networks like cnn and abc. the media in my opinion are so closely linked to Obama (a true fascist in my opinion) that i myself am not even sure if what i’m hearing is what the Obama administration wants me to hear or the truth. I’m sorry if my opinions offend you i’m just saying what i know.

by the way, the real one trying to sway the masses with their own agenda is Obama. Sadly, the crimes commited by this villain are never heard due to networks like CNN. I’m not sure if you know but maybe i could offer up a few examples as to how Obama is the true fascist.

#1 - With this health care bill, he has arranged the most unamerican thing i have ever seen. A “snitch line”. He is pressuring other democrats into supporting his reform by having his supportes inform him as to who isnt supporting the reform.

#2 - Nationalized Health care. Must i say more? By controlling health care he’s ginving himself the pick and chose as to who is worthy of living and dying. he’s even started hinting it by telling people who send letters of complaint to white house that “they’ll be watching”.

Obama is destroying the US. Right now we are up to our eyeballs in debt! I didnt like Bush, but i HATE Obama. In 8 months he has incured more debt and trouble then it took the entire Obama administration to do in 8 YEARS!! The American people or the sheeple as i call them, are starting to realize this and its shown by how we are all standing up for our selves at these town hall meetings. Here’s something i beleive Obama will bring about. its called “mark of the new world order” google it.

Haha, Probably, Anon! I can’t really watch it for that long…everything I see on that channel is insanely biased. I say that and I’m not a member of any political party. (email removed) is destroying the US”. I’m sure you were one of the citizens getting all upset when people were putting Bush down while the economy was crashing to the ground. What, so now it’s okay to publicly insult the President? Yet a year ago you thought those people with different opinions that were insulting the president were so terrible for doing that? Hmmm…doesn’t seem quite fair to me.

Another thing…most media and news casts that are actually aired on TV or the radio will be biased one way or another. That is a problem. You just have to dig through all of the sly opinions to find the facts. I don’t agree with every choice Obama has made, but that goes without saying. I don’t fully agree with any politician I’ve read about. However, I think people need to lighten up on the president. Otherwise, things will start getting violent.

Why must you believe that Obama is not the largest representative of America? We voted him into office! If you think that he is duping us, you are wrong. Control and having a government option are two completely different things. Destroying the US is stupid partisan comment. If you think offering a government option is worse than involving our country in in unnecessary war then you are a pinhead. Ooops, did I revert to simple minded name calling?

I’m sorry. I’ll stick to my point. You have said Nothing with support. Its all opinion built on opinion built on speculation, and its ridiculous. How many 24 hour liberal media outlets are there?

What you know is like how in old times, they “knew” that the sun revolved around the earth. I don’t mind an opposing viewpoint, in fact I invite them, but this is worse than high school bully tactics and its hurting America.

I don’t watch Fox News, but I heard so many great things about them. I’m democrat and what I think your saying is they don’t like Republicans? Anyway, I believe they should broadcast the news with no bias whats so ever and inform their viewers of only the truth of matters at hand. If you find they don’t, then maybe you should spread your word and give examples of the things that you catch them do. That would have been wonderful if I seen some proof to back up your statement. Thanks for the information, and I think I will start to watch this news myself to see what you are referring to.

No but you are close… CNN is run by communists. Fox is the least slanted of any major network in my opinion, I watch them all and believe none of them. Kind of like I listen to Public Radio and the local right wing talk station. Used to be you could get both sides from the networks but not any more, they are slanted to the far left in my opinion.

so you like fox for its “fair and balanced” coverage? or will you at least admit that as far as spin goes they are king. I won’t disagree that most news is biased, but the slant in fox is steepest of them all. Its hypocrisy is unrivaled, and their tactics are underhanded and down right wrong. They aren’t reporting news anymore, they are rallying a militia. When people wanted to march against the war, they didn’t need liberal news to tell them to do it. And they certainly didn’t deserve the slander given to them by the same news venues that now applaud these tactics without any real knowledge behind them at all.

Fox bullies non-Christians, minorities, non-Americans, and non-Republicans. That means they hate over 2/3rds of the world population. Please. They’re so outnumbered that if they step out of line, they’ll get smacked. Not by all of the groups together mind, but one of them will take care of it.

But they do step out of line plenty. At least glen beck got punished for his though. When he called our president racist his sponsors dumped him like a bad date.

Every reporter at every major network is a Dumbocrat… pull your head out of your butt and look around. They are rallying the troops to squash religion and the constitution.

they already are… you’ve seen the uprisings in the town hall meetings. That’s all them. They already had 40 percent of the voting population under their fingers when obama was elected. With a controversial bill being juggled in congress, they are starting to turn that 40% into radical believers, and sway the swingers to jump on the bandwagon. I’m not against them bringing up good points and posing an argument, becuase an opposition is the best way to progress and refine an idea. But they are fanatics in their opposition and are creating fanatics in their viewers, while continuing to call everyone that opposes them, left wing loons.

see.. they are children reverting to namecalling… Dumbocrats… that’s really well thought out argument there. I think I might be convinced. I don’t want to side with or listen to a dumbocrat. I might be next in the namecalling lineup if i side with them. boohoo, boohoo…

squash religion and the constitution. yeah that makes sense. maybe you should stick with the namecalling, becuase your criminal charges are crazier than your insults. The only ones rallying “troops” are the Rush Limbaughs and Glen Becks of our country who seed distrust and hate and the idea that America is being taken away by an unfair government. And it sounds a lot like the rhetoric of the south before the civil war started.

Fox News’ parent company News Corp just donated $1 mil to the Republican Governor’s Association? Why? So they can elect repulican governors into office in key states (such as Florida) and do some gerrymandering - ensuring Republican advantages for the next 10 years.

There is much documented evidence out there that reveals that certain GOP think tanks (such as the Cato Institute and the Word Doctors) generate talking points (code words for disinformation) that get distributed to conservative politicians and pundits - including Fox News executives who then hand down directives to their on air personalities. These so-called ‘journalists’ are instructed on what to say and what not to say by Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch on a day to day basis. This is reality. Fox News is not a news organization. Fox News is a propagandist organization who have figured out how to create a profit model out of political disinformation.

What is sad is that there are many individuals (like Dr. Ralph) who are conservatively minded that turn on Fox News and believe the outrageous content on that network. Then in turn believe that truths presented on authentic news channels are actually non-truths. Then again, who knows if this “Dr. Ralph” is actually a doctor or even just an average citizen as he represents himself to be? For all we know, “Dr. Ralph” could be some right-wing payrollee spending some of his spare time pretending to be a Doctor in effort to further the deception. I’d roll the dice that its the latter.
