My adhd meds are controlling my life

I cant stop, i run out before the end of the month, and i feel like a drug addict. i wasnt like this as a kid, but i thought i needed em for school. I dropped out, have no job and no money. Now i just need em. adderall destroyed me

Seek psychiatric help and try to get help from your parents if they are still available for you.

If you seek the proper medical resources, people can and will help wean you off of your addiction.

There are many survivors of addictions, after all.

Don’t try to deal with this on your own. You need to seek professional help to help break the addiction. Are you still living with your parents? If so, tell them. If not, there are agencies that will provide free/low cost assistance to help you. Do this today - don’t wait.

what agencies? ive looked and tried but health care isnt something i can afford right now. I have important things to do, things i want to do, but off my meds i just sleep, and dont care about anything. i dont know where to look for help.
