OK, I pick this one. “Show me a liar and I will show you a thief.”

Literally a thief and a liar are usually one in the same. If you are a liar without remorse, then you what remorse would you have if you stole something?

Figuratively, a liar is stealing the truth.

Do you think that that makes sense?
