I feel fat, but I know I’m not.

Like, I don’t want to become anorexic or anything, but this summer has made me feel really fat. When I was in school, I was always around people heavier than me, and people were always saying I was really skinny. But this summer, the people I’ve been hanging out with are mostly skinnier than me, if only by a few pounds. I’ve tried telling people that I feel fat, but they mostly just think I’m joking or they get mad and call me anorexdic or something, which I’m not. (Hope not, anyway) A couple days ago, I weighed myself, and I had gained some, and I felt really bad, so I started excercising more, which only gave me stomachaches since its so hot out. I am 5′7″ and (apparently) 127 pounds. :( Idk what you can do to help, but i’d like to read what you have to say, anyway.

Hun, You’re good at your weight :). & If you’ve been like that your whole life, You most likely have a great metabolism or your eating habits must be alright. I know you probably won’t change your thinking after I type this, But with exercise, you’ll gain more cause the muscle (sp?) & you arenot anorexic. Your bmi (19.93) is totally in the normal range. But if you feel bad about your weight do something about it, Just don’t gain AN E.D. DON’T. …unless you want to enter hell, then go right ahead. But if the exercise makes you more confident- Hey, whatever makes you happy :). Also, you’re getting stomach cramps most likely because you’re not used to the kind of exercise you’re doing.
…& this is where my ticking bomb blows…Tell your friends to gain more brain power. The only way you can be an anorectic is if your 15% underweight. God…For some reason nowadays someone who either chooses a salad over a hamburger or feels fat is somehow anorexic. wtf. sorry. rant. xD

Just like picklechip said, it’s not that heavy. And dont feel that you have to be as skinny as everyone else. If everyone else jumped off a bridge would you too? Your weight should also be a healthy one, so remember to eat healthy and exercise right. If your really upset about these newly gained pounds, set a goal for yourself, eat fruits and veggies, take a mile jog around the neighborhood or park.
Good luck!
And P.S.
I have been exactly where you are, so trust me, when you make good and healthy desicions, you’ll feel great about it :)

and i have set a goal for myself, involving fruit and low-fat yogurt and treadmills…

You only feel fat coz your mentally comparing yourself to others ,does your weight stop you from doing certain things and does it cause any health risks,if not you’re fine and i’d advise you to just live your life as you see fit that’s where true happiness lies.
