School Orientation!

[I’m new to this city and am a freshmen in high school.]
I went to tour the school and go through all my classes.
No one talked to me.
I had to go up to people and make conversation, which was fine.
But i didn’t think it would be like that.

Is it normal for people to not put any effort in talking to you?

Yeah sometimes. Often people don’t want to go out of their comfort zones.

Yes. Everyone is nervous at these kind of things, and tend to stick with their own groups that they are familiar with.

It’s good that you went and talked with people though, keep doing that and you’ll soon find friends.
