I have been trying to get my kids in school that was
zoned by whoever thought of this idea now either of my kids are in the schools they are zoned for I have been on top of this since June when I knew i was moving and now they tell me it’s no seats and wants my 4th grader to walk across 4th 9th and 16th street through a neighborhood to get to a school that appears to be abandoned. I have also been to schools as student assignment instructed me to sign registration papers and show my lease upon that my kids were not in the system now student assignment tells me it’s nothing they can do since they are already assigned schools it’s been a headache today i sent an e-mail to the superintendant waiting to hear from him i refuse to send my little girl to that place they call a school which is in need of improvement for the past 3 years. Send my kid to school or go to jail?
