Right, my boyfriend of two months, mother is getting married in December and I have been invited. It is at a very posh castle in Devon, England and I have no idea of where to start looking for a dress.

I am quite short, 5″2ish and very thin size 4 UKish and find eveining wear hard to shop for. I was thinking a nice green colour as I am red haired and pale skined but beyond that I am lost. Style. length and wear to shop are all a mystery to me!

Any suggestions?

the first, and most obvious place is the same place the bride is getting married at, and seeing what they have… - they might also be able to recomend styles, etc…

beyond that, i could recommend a couple of decent dress makers here in somerset, but thats all money.

I had a freind that got married a week ago - she’s also a natural redhead, and she wore a beautiful medieval dark green (think velvet) - so i think you are on the right track for colour!

your best bet is too either go shop trawling (once you have an idea), and see what you find, or, to be honest, you probably would have some luck on ebay!

and beyond /that/ - fancy a date? i have a thing for redheads! ;P
