program help: Sometimes when I download big files free (without using any program) - Help.com

Sometimes when I download big files free (without using

any program) it takes temporary space on my main drive (C) and when I download a big file (from Megaupload for instance) that drive’s space almost reaches 0. So I’d like to know if there’s any program with which I’ll be able to download to where I want to without filling up the main drive (C).
