do more people in the world own dogs or cats?
my guess is people own more dogs than cats because dogs can be used in work (police, firefighters, hunting, ranches, seeing-eye, etc) while cats cannot.
Nobody seems to have any idea… one website says 200 million cats world wide and 74 million dogs that people own just in the USA so I would guess dogs.

you got strays all over the place. seemingly cats more often than dogs. and cats are smaller. and seem to spawn more…
i’d agree with those results, more leaning towards dogs, but it could possibly be even.
