I have been declined by both my universities that I had applied to…

I am goin through clearing and cannot find a good university.. I had missed the grade I needed for uni by 1 mark.. needed 480 but got 479,sent it for a remark, what should i do, time is running out… i am in so much stress, may have to wait a whole one year because of one tiny mark!

479 points should still get you into a perfectly respectable uni through clearing so I don’t have much sympathy for that, but 1 mark is annoying… are your first choices not willing to let you in anyway? Seems a bit harsh, lol.

first and second declined me … nd coz of one mark, i just hope the remark comes up by 1.. but i feel so stressed sitting here waitin for the remar.. ive looked at few uni’s at clearing but they are either too high or too low

i kno exactly how u feel, the same thing happened to me but luckily i was able to find a good uni thru clearing that accepted the grades i got. hang in there. but missing 1 point sound like a crazy reason for the uni not to let u in cz ususally they accept u if u obtained close to wot they want- nd u were REALLY close. but this year there is so much competition for places and there are alot of people in your predicament. my problem now is student finance, they haven’t got back to me so i av no idea if i’ll get my maintenace in time. good luck.
