Family help: hi um need help about friends…

hi um need help about friends…

This thing is about a friend who i met here at help.com who lives in the same place as me.It’s a really small town though.

My family and I had a talk about what’s going on in our lives lately, so i told them about her. Since her and my brother are friends in facebook(she just made one especially for me and a msn account too), my brother showed my sister a picture of her and her sister. My sister and my brother told my mother about her being a poser because her and her sister just look so different. I realized that too but I just let it pass but she could have just have at least told me where she lives. And also my mother told me not to believe anything she said anymore but I just can’t do that. I do not doubt her so I want to meet her in real life just to let my family believe me. I too think that it’s weird that we even met so I thought she was one of my friends who i told about this website playing around with me but i don’t think she is!

I need advice on what to do..
HELP?

Oh, I don’t know about this. I have made a friend on here, just periodically talk via e-mail. We have the same interest. But, it’s not like meeting someone in person. Very dangerous these days. Could be anybody, and if you get a wild hair and just decide you have to meet this person it is in a group in public, do you understand. Parents are just trying to keep you safe, and alive. Be careful, never can you be too careful, ever. Remember, always in a group, in a public place and best to listen to your parents who love you and want only to protect you from harm

Make sure it is her first, cannot be too careful. I don’t want to scare you but some people are just down right mean and evil. be careful

so…u need a way 2 find out wether she’s the sam eperson or nbot?!?!?why don’t u call her;i mean that person u know in reality when u know ur help.com friend is on….
another way is 2 be blunt and ask her;i prefer thin one :)

no like i really mean i havent met her in real life but she has some pictures on her facebook page though

Anybody can fake that. There are predators out there that do unspeakable things to innocent people just like you. You are not wordly enough, but you will be, not criticizing, to understand and to discern between the good, the bad and the ugly/evil. Proceed with caution. You are bound and determined. If she wants to be your friend, invite her over to your house for Pete’s sake and prove there is nothing sinister going on. Learn not to trust so easily, and stay safe.
