once you go down that road, there is no turning back. taht is the biggest problem. if you start cutting, you will cut more and more often, for smaller and smaller reasons. and eventually when you get nothing from this anymore you will turn to smth else, that will allow you to go into this different feeling your serching for: like drugs.
cutting yourself will not solve any of your problems but rather make them worse. if you feel like cutting, please talk to someone about it. like your mom. it can be very comforting and mayeb she can help you. but at this point if youve already been cutting then you need help…

Why not do something FUN, instead.

Why not USE your life, instead of punishing yourself for God knows what.

The more you focus on cutting the harder it is to avoid it. You need distractions.

Go for a run.
Go for a swim, bike ride.
Go to meetup.com and find some social groups, sign up and keep going.
Sign up to a class.

You MUST give yourself regular distractions to keep your mind engaged. Anxiety will get so much easier to deal with the more you refuse to give in to it.

Feel like cutting? GET OUT OF THE HOUSE/APARTMENT and get yourself into a public place. Exercise, take in a really weird movie, eat something you’ve never tried, buy totally different music. Stay out until you are exhausted then go home and sleep.

I did that for years after my wife died. It works.
