I don’t know where the Starter Solenoid is found but you should consider it might not be the only reason why your car wont start. Could be any number of things…
It could be the Spark Plugs, Ignition Port Problems (That hole you put the key in), Loose connection somewhere, Battery could be flat, There are a wide range of reason why your car may not start so my advice would be to call the dealership that sold you the car and get it seen to (If it’s still in warranty) or go to your local garage (I don’t know what the American term is for garage. It’s the place where anyone can take there car to be fixed :-p ). They will be able to localise the problem and fix it for you.

If you can wait a few hours, I will ask my husband. He probably knows the answer, but he is asleep for the night.

He says there is no solenoid. You will probably need to replace the starter, which you can get a almost any parts store. Sorry the news was not better.

Well, now he is at work. My impression from what he said is that you have to replace the whole starter. There is not a separate solenoid.

No, you can’t take the solenoid off the starter. You have to replace the unit, which includes the starter and the solenoid. Please tell me you understand this reply as I have explained it as best I can.
