I am in a delimma, I am invited to be an emcee for

a public singing competition however I have a huge exam in one months time and my grades now aren’t looking fantastic!
I can choose to back out now but I really want to do this but I know my academic is flailing in the air, and it I choose to back out later, it would be worse! Help! I need some advice here!

is the competition only for one night? if yes, why not? :) and i’ve been an emcee many times before, it doesn’t really require too much preparation. or well, depending on the event i guess. :)

But then it will require 4 days of intensive planning and my HUGEEEEEE exams is in 30 days! Any extra advice?
