Free

I am free to be me.
Before a flower can blossom in the sunlight, it must first grow through dark soil. Before a butterfly can dance through the air, it must first evolve within a dark cocoon.
If it seems that I am being held back from achieving some goal, I realize that this is an opportunity of growth for me. Temporarily in a dark, seemingly restrictive space in my life, I earnestly seek my way into the light of a new day.
Like the flower and the butterfly, I, too, emerge strong and free. Having left behind any habit or belief that could limit or restrict me, I have been transformed. I enjoy the wonderful exhilaration of being the new me. I understand that I have freedom from being who I was in the past and the freedom to be who I am now.

For the record, I did not write this. I just wanted to remind you that if you are in a dark place, you will not always be there. You will emerge a better person for having gone through the struggle.

that was inspiring ,it reminds my with myself ,i hope things turn good for me too, it’s a very positive way of thinking to see the struggles in life is an opportunity for growth , although sometimes it’s very difficult to see that.

Hi, Norah. I took a look at your previous posts. It looks like you are going through a hard time right now. It looks like you are depressed. Being that I have been their myself, I know it is a struggle and a time of transformations. It takes work for the transformation to work, but it feels good once you emerge and can feel proud that you got through it.

That’s the most optimistic take on things I’ve heard in a while. Seeing how I’m in one of those dark places right now, I can only hope that your post comes true!!

Challenges are here to awaken us. They are here to teach us something. SO ask what can I learn from this situation. What is it here to teach me. I do I need to awaken to. It will be better once you look at this situation in that light.

A well thought out poem. Well said well said. I am indeed touched that people in this world have such passion.
