Why are people so complicated?

When people are born they should come with manuals, toasters come with manuals why not people?

Somebody explain this to me..

Because everybody is different in thousands of different ways. We are inherently complex and consequently complicated. There are so many things that effect who we are and what we do that we could never possible understand them and so we can never truly understand people.

god is cutting down on manufacturing and shipping costs by cutting out a manual that would be huge and cost a ton of money to ship.
It’s just smart business.

A toaster has limits on its functioning whereas human beings are seemingly creatures designed with an elaborate functioning makeup intended for accomplishing multiple tasks.

What you say is very profound, but everything has a pattern, even the most complex of systems so even humans should be able to be understood.

Well to identify the factors that affect our personality and behavior, understand their effects and calculate its outcome is well beyond our capabilities.

You would actually be surprised by the number of people who cannot operate a toaster to save their lives. They simply do not want to waste the time on reading the manual. And this can be said about many technological devices.

I’d like to think that there our several disciplines that exist in our world today which would help us learn a person’s personality and behavior, and then interpret the impact it will have on the rest of the world.

actually, there was a one- page leaflet that came with every newborn, it just got dissolved in the birth process, it had the following English phrase in every possible language: “No returns, refunds or replacements. Product may be slightly different than as seen on the packaging.”
